Raises Money for Mountain Valley Hospice
GLOVERSVILLE, NY – The family of Raymond E. VanAuken Jr. recently held the 2nd Annual Raymond E. VanAuken Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament to raise money for Mountain Valley Hospice. Raymond was an avid golfer who lost his battle with cancer 3 years ago. The tournament was held on Saturday, October 5 at Fox Run Golf Course in Johnstown. Over 100 golfers participated and $4600 was raised to further the mission of Mountain Valley Hospice.
A community based, not-for-profit agency founded in 1988 and located at 108 Steele Avenue in Gloversville; Mountain Valley Hospice seeks to make hospice care available to all appropriate patients and families in Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery and Saratoga Counties.
