Hospice services include the provision of Bereavement Support Services for the patient, family and caregivers during the illness period and after death. These services are also available to members of the community who have lost a loved one.  The goal is to offer support to the bereaved as they adjust to life without the loved one, to assist them through the normal grieving process and to reduce the risk of physical and psychological complications which can occur with grieving.

Mountain Valley Hospice is a community based, not-for-profit agency founded in 1988. In providing care to persons with life-limiting illnesses, the goal of hospice is to alleviate symptoms – physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and social – enabling patients and families to concentrate on living as comfortably and fully as possible. Patient centered care allows control to remain with the patient and those supporting them. Mountain Valley Hospice provides care that is holistic and supportive.
